Philadelphia native Travis Lucas, baritone, graduated from the University of Delaware with a M.M. degree in Vocal Performance in May of 2017. In 2016, he attended the CoOperative Summer Program for young artists where he studied with vocal coaches from the Julliard School, Westminster Choir College, and the Metropolitan Opera. Travis has performed the roles of Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, John Proctor in Robert Ward’s The Crucible, Le bailli in Massenet’s Werther, and Red Death in a world premiere work titled The Masque of Edgar Allen Poe as part of the University of Delaware Opera. In 2018 he sang Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte with the Utah Vocal Arts Academy as a Principal Artist. In 2018 he sang Antonio as well as covered the Count in Wilmington Concert Opera’s production of Le nozze di Figaro. He was selected as an Apprentice Artist with Sarasota Opera for their Diamond Anniversary Season in 2019. That year he sang the title role in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with Opera Susquehanna. He sang Marcello in Puccini’s La bohème with Portland Opera in 2019 and was again selected as an Apprentice Artist for the 2020 Winter Season with Sarastoa Opera covering the role of Le Duc in Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette.
Hailed by Opera News as “utterly loveable, with an expansive sound and easy stage presence”, Baritone, Jesús Vicente Murillo, has been performing Opera, Musical Theater, Concerts and Art Song across the United States and Canada since making his debut at with Michigan Opera Theater as The Android in Cary John Franklin’s The Very Last Green Thing at the age of eighteen. In 2019 he completed a two-year residency in Salt Lake City. Since then, he was a young artist at Santa Fe Opera, and Chautauqua Opera. Announced projects for the 2021-22 season include Leporello in “Don Giovanni” with Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Pyotr in “The Death of Ivan Illytch” with Thompson Street Opera, and Jeff in “That Hellbound Train” with The National Endowment for the Arts. He received his Bachelor of Music: Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Music: Opera and Voice Performance from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
Zachary Smith is a pianist/music director in the Lancaster area. He has provided musical direction for 18 shows, mostly at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center including Ragtime, West Side Story and Sweeney Todd. He was the music counselor for EPAC Summer Theater camps for three years. He accompanies piano for Locust Grove United Church of Christ in York. He received his MS and BA in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University in 2020 and has an interest in studying the link between Mental Health and Music as well as Piano Pedagogical Techniques for students with Mental Health Disorders, especially ADHD, Autism, Depression and Anxiety.
