Tenors and Tequila RECAP

Sunday, September 19th saw the return of live performances for Penn Square Music Festival. Tenors and Tequila had a packed house of very appreciative supporters as they heard Vincent Festa and Nicholas Simpson entertain us with opera, musical theatre and song. Jingle 2021

Come join two marvelous singers perform the greatest hits from those Christmas Specials from the 60s, 70s and 80s. A sing-a-long is a required part of putting us in the holiday spirit. A silent auction and raffle drawing will also be held. Great fun and definitely family friendly. Features complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Praised for her “beautiful sound,” “free spirit,” and “silver high notes,” Louisiana-born soprano Cadie J. Bryan is quickly emerging as a captivating and versatile performer in a variety of repertoire. She recently came out of the Marion Roose Pullin Arizona Opera Studio where she performed mainstage leading and supporting roles including Musetta in La bohème, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Bess in Craig Bohmler’s Riders of the Purple Sage, Maid in the Taliesin West Premier of Daron Hagen’s Shining Brow, and Annina in La traviata. She spent three seasons with Des Moines Metro Opera

Philadelphia native Travis Lucas, baritone, graduated from the University of Delaware with a M.M. degree in Vocal Performance in May of 2017. In 2016, he attended the CoOperative Summer Program for young artists where he studied with vocal coaches from the Julliard School, Westminster Choir College, and the Metropolitan Opera. Travis has performed the roles of Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, John Proctor in Robert Ward’s The Crucible, Le bailli in Massenet’s Werther, and Red Death in a world premiere work titled The Masque of Edgar Allen Poe as part of the University of Delaware Opera. In 2018 he sang Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte with the Utah Vocal Arts Academy as a Principal Artist. In 2018

Event Information Tellus 360 is located at 24 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA, one block from Penn Square. Parking is available in the Penn Square parking garage right of Tellus. This event will be held in the Tig Caleb room, second floor. An intimate bar setting with unique features, like hanging lamps fashioned from reclaimed air-raid sirens, a full bar fashioned from reclaimed wood, and a large whiskey selection.
